Field & Sky 3 of 4
This painting is part of a collection entitled Field & Sky, a series of four paintings that were created to celebrate and capture the beauty of the corn fields that permeate the landscape. These paintings use bright colors, big gestures and white space to capture the expansive feeling of where field and sky meet. I used all natural tools to create these pieces. These tools include branches, pine needles, bark, corn husks, seedless corn cobs, honeycomb, and finally, my fingers and hands.
