Eastern Magic

It is said; ‘Green tea arrived to the Arab world via caravans traveling the Silk Road. Black tea arrived via the French and the British colonizers and quickly became a favourite among the Arabs. Today, Turkey is the number one producer and drinker of tea throughout the Middle East region. Much like coffee, however, Arabs serve tea in a variety of ways that each area has their own unique teas and shapes of teapots to pour. This distinctive teapot is a Turkish teapot which is so unique in style and elegance. One of Taryn’s childhood memories is of her parents beautiful golden brass Turkish teapot set, placed centrally in their living-room at the time. Taryn grew a passion over time for also spending months in her adult years, in the Middle East, sipping on Arabic coffee, drinking tea as a delicacy with Middle Eastern cultural families, bonding and sharing wonderful stories over the simple delight of drinking tea from this wonderfully crafted teapot set.
