Corona Rules
“Corona Rules” was created in the depths of the pandemic. It illustrates a dark and descriptive portrait of a gas mask that tells us “omicron”, “do not breathe” and the infection rate (6160 in the top right) in Norway the day it was finished. Wear masks, hide, do not talk to me. “Do not” is simply the “rules” aspect of the painting. It also means that Corona is the one in charge so a crown was added to emit feelings of worship, grandeur and most importantly a rule we want to be over. I like the despair, but also the desire in the painting. That we want to be in charge again. Firstly, we must put on our masks.
