This expressive landscape is included in the Tempo Series, where I am taken away by the atmosphere of the sea. As I create these energetic drawings, I am taken to another place, enjoying the memories of sounds of the waves crashing along the sand and rocks, wind in my hair.

Moody and dramatic, these works reflect the energy of the moment, and bring an excitement of what is to come.

This work on stretched linen was created with bamboo reed pens, lightfast pigmented ink, impasto and some brush work.
