Chasing Horizons

The meaning of this artwork is that everyone can choose his own horizon in life. The work represents a boy who, living among the stars (that is to say the universe of human being’s desires), is carrying a mirror reflecting the sky. Here, “desire” is intended in the Latin meaning of “de-siderare”, that is “taking from the stars” the part that anyone wants to take, in order to make it a reality in his own life. The sky reflected in the mirror is the boy’s choice, a mixed memory of paradise and freedom.
