Blue Infinity Waves
Blue Infinite Waves is part of my Sculpture Waves series. The piece was hand-sculpted using heat to mold the plexiglass, and painted with spray paint.
The blue color, texture, geometry, and curves blend together to create a unique feeling of calm and peace. The circular shape added to the waves gives the impression of infinity. The piece is lightweight and easy to hang.
My work is inspired by architecture, my hometown of Buenos Aires and the urban environment. I aim to balance structure and chaos in my pieces, using geometry to reference the architectural world while evoking feelings of the organic. I draw inspiration from masters like Zaha Hadid and Frank Gehry, and strive to achieve a balance between spontaneity and planning in my work.
