BIOGRAPHY
Teodora works in abstract art, creating her own language and recognizable style. Her specific, unique approach enhances her sound, and her works have a direct and memorable impact on the viewer.
Born in Sofia, Bulgaria she received a private education in graphics, sculpture, and painting.
Graduated from the Higher University of Architecture and Construction.
She created her gallery studio in Sofia, where she continues to work.
She creates a world of reflections, a world of accumulation of layers that flow into each other and intertwine for a complete impact.

Participation in several collective exhibitions, as well as two exhibitions together with the sculptor Seyfetin Shekerov – one in the “Art Rental – Towers Gallery” gallery in Sofia, an exhibition in the “Stoychev” art gallery in the city of Yambol.

STATEMENT
My work in the field of fine arts is an attempt to express inner emotions, an effort to share my vision of the world, which takes on abstract forms. I create a sense of movement and spatiality, a way of seeing things from above and afar.
The different layers, each with its own character, intertwine. The watercolor bleed of the ink paints balances the expressive masks with which I apply the oil paints. The transparency of the layers allows for the creation of exciting nuances that complement each other intimately, blending with the textured underlayer. The overall tone is a play between intention and chance, between calm contemplation and tension.
In the overall plastic and graphic construction of the image, I often let the painting lead and inspire me. The works are dynamic, the lighting changes them and they resonate in different ways.
I aim for my paintings to carry a deeper message. To provoke the viewer to look into the infinite inner space.
