BIOGRAPHY
5JH lives and works in Freiburg. 2015 she moved to Berlin to work as a fashion editor and subsequently finished her master degrees in linguistics 2021 in Colombia, Medellín. However, it was through creative writing, painting and drawing that she decided to express herself. Reaching for transcendence, she portrays the unconscious and the complexity of our beings with her own codes. 5JH observes her art as a mirror involving an infinite quest for self and for the other.

STATEMENT
The most of my paintings arise from my past or my dreams. When i paint, it feels like a nonstop Dejavue in which you lose the control over what you’re doing. A go with the flow where you let go – all the emotions. It’s like a metamorphosis: everytime you finish a painting, you’re shedding the ballast of the past.
