BIOGRAPHY
Shahad is from the United Arab Emirates. She is skilled in Still Life Portraiture, her paintings exhibits the expressionist art movement, grasped from her study of color and aesthetics. Her international participations are intended for bridging cross-cultural dialogues; for knowledge exchange and cultural representations. All her creative processes are purposed toward the soft realms of diplomacy.
Shahad is an Emirati Crafts Specialist with a 6 years experience in Research and Documentation at IRTHI Contemporary Crafts Council. Where she was involved in the projects falling under UAE’s Crafts innovation and Documentation from 2018 to 2025; from the realms of Innovative textile, Emirati Gastronomy, Coffee traditions, and contemporary interior designs.
Al Hammadi holds a Bachelors of Arts in International Affairs specializing in International Relations from Zayed University. She is also a Master of Public Policy in Technology and Sciences after earning a degree from Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government with distinction; She specializes in UAE’s Space Policy.

I believe in understated things.
A guide book ignored. Terms and conditions unread. Sentences and words that result in changing a person’s life outlook. A sip of coffee that can make your day.
I find excitement in anything raw, a clean desk, a rich color, zesty perfume, a plain dress.
Art is one’s heart being raw.
I also believe in function. Usefulness in everything made to excellence.
My work depicts the imperfections that are the backstage of the excellent.
