BIOGRAPHY
My name is Rodrigo Amado, I was born in Lisbon in 1985 and I’m the father of three children.
I have a degree in architecture from the Autonoma University of Lisbon, a degree I took between 2003 and 2009. I subsequently worked in various offices as an architect, always combining work with the oldest of my passions: drawing and painting.
However, the emergence of the pandemic that we were all subjected to in 2019 and the respective lock down that this forced ended up being an opportunity to start dedicating myself full-time to art, perfecting techniques, but above all in search of my own identity in my paintings.
The female figure ends up being a unique theme to this day, as I try to convey the style, curves, textures and sensuality that are present in her onto the canvas.
The first exhibition (Jane Doe – a woman whose real name we do not know or wish to conceal) was held in Lisbon in December 2022 and launched my career as an artist.
