BIOGRAPHY
Raya Mansoor is a Maldivian artist and Economics graduate working primarily with acrylic and oil. Her work is centered on painting as a process of exploration, building compositions through layers of color and texture that develop gradually over time.
Drawing from personal experience and island life, her work explores an ongoing interest in color, emotion, and the relationship between what is seen, felt, and remembered. Alongside years of studio practice, she has further developed her work through painting studies in Provence, France.

STATEMENT
I work with color and form as a way of exploring movement, mood, and space.
