BIOGRAPHY
Patricia is a Canadian-Mexican photographer and visual storyteller based in Berlin, Germany. She has a background in anthropology and humanitarian relief and has lived and worked in over 18 countries. Through her photography, Patricia seeks to highlight stories that speak to the human experience with the goal of generating empathy and curiosity through a form of visual anthropology. Her work bridges documentary and fine art photography, sometimes combining them using experimental approaches to question the world around her.

Patricia holds a B.A in Anthropology and an M.Sc. in Children’s Rights in International Development. Her images have been exhibited internationally including UNICEF Photo of the Year 2024, Exposure Festival (Canada) 2024, Uppsala FotoFestival 2022 (Sweden), Edition 365 with the BJP and Exposure+ Photo in Malaysia. One of her projects was awarded honourable mention for UNICEF Photo of the Year 2024.
