BIOGRAPHY
Working as a textile designer, her artistic work was always intended to be rather decorative and well crafted. After a creative break she started to develop her artistic skills and began to paint in oil. Craftsmanship, technical mastery and aesthetic harmony continue to play a major role in her work. Apart from that, a painting that captures a certain magic, dreamy moment, is what makes her fell she has created a successful piece of art.

Martina Heigl made her diploma in Textile Design and Interior Design in Austria. She worked as a Textile Designer in Como/Italy, and as an Interior Designer in Vienna.

STATEMENT
A painting that I consider successful has a harmonic range of colors. It has to capture the viewers attention, and to exude tranquility at the same time. I am attracted to works of art that capture something that moves my soul. And mostly that happens through beauty
