BIOGRAPHY
Juliane Blasquez is a contemporary French artist based in Toulouse, who brings captivating works to life through oil painting.
Fascinated by the human being, she passionately explores the body, creativity, and the intensity of emotions. Her art, born from an insatiable curiosity, transcends the simple pictorial gesture to become a continuous quest for expression and meaning.
While nourished by the richness of the Italian Renaissance, Juliane Blasquez forges her own artistic language within the universe of Symbolism. Her works, imbued with mystery and poetry, question the boundary between the visible and the invisible, in spiritual and intimate atmospheres.
They embody a ritual of metamorphosis where the body becomes language, and intimacy, a place of transmutation. Through her singular vision, Juliane Blasquez invites us to dive into a sublimated vision of our own existence.

STATEMENT
My work explores the space between mystery, sacred eroticism, and symbolic transformation. Through the female body as a threshold between the visible and the invisible, shadow and light merge, inviting the viewer to encounter the creative fire’s ambivalence — burning and illumination, abandonment and elevation — and to feel its resonance within themselves.
