BIOGRAPHY
Jordana Coelho is a Portuguese/Swiss artist based in Switzerland. She has been passionate about creating, composing, singing and crafting since childhood. Art – in whatever form – has always been an outlet for generational trauma and emotions. She creates unique acrylic artwork, that is greatly influenced by Minimalism and abstract art. Her creation process is layering colors, textures, contrasts and lines until they balance each other out.

STATEMENT
Alma means “soul” in Portuguese. Just like every soul is unique, so are my pieces. Pieces from the soul – Alma Pieces.
Alma Pieces was born through a devastating loss, when my beloved dad died unexpectedly in 2021. I was certain that art – in whatever form – would not be enough to help me through pain. But fortunately, it did. By painting and creating I move forward with my grief.
I’ll always dedicate my work to him. Até um dia, Papi.
