BIOGRAPHY
‘Jenny Ink’ is a NY based artist who seeks her main sources of inspiration from the city and, above all, the people and through music. Creative development that breaks the traditional rules of representation of reality. Colors and small details, deconstruction and multilayering are the key to understanding the artist’s entire poetics, centered on the treatment of social issues through the use of strong contrasts to generate tension, disorientation and instill doubts and reflections in the observer.

STATEMENT
My artwork is a scream, a juxtaposition of first impressions. The fusion of collage elements that are in stark contrast to the abstract stylings of the subject matter and overall composition of the work itself. Palette knife abstractions afford raw emotion seeping through the multilayers that unfold organically and is my visual dialogue. Strong and vibrant colors, or conversely, completely muted palettes reflect my need to discard realism in favor of obscurity.
