STATEMENT

My paintings explore the extravagant mystery of God’s grace using the aesthetic language of parable, storytelling and analogy. I use layers of oil and beeswax, and words and images to stir one’s imagination to consider the eternal drama of God’s love for a broken world. My work which hopes to make visible the invisible is called metaphorical abstraction.
