BIOGRAPHY
Ghalia AlAbdulkader is a Saudi Arabian born self-taught artist.
With her deep passion for the arts since a young age, she began to express herself through cartoon doodles, moved on to graphic design, and has now settled on abstraction.
Having completed her degree as an oculoplastic surgeon, she blends her artistic passion with her love for the complex into her daily life and her paintings.

Ghalia AlAbdulkader is a self taught emerging artist. She has been formally trained as a medical doctor and is currently an ophthalmologist specializing in Oculoplastic and then Orbital surgery.

STATEMENT
Informed by the striking beauty of nature and thriving on the thrill of imperfection, I hope to translate the sense of calm and clarity that nature offers. My work is composed of acrylic paint, oil pastels and charcoals to create a harmonious palette that highlights the nuances of our emotions when experiencing the beauty in our surroundings.
