STATEMENT

My most recent body of work, titled H O P E, marks a new chapter in my evolution. It has been thirteen years since my first major solo exhibition at the CCA Andratx Museum of Contemporary Art in Palma de Mallorca, today I find myself exploring new horizons, both technically and conceptually. I am currently working with mixed media – primarily acrylics, pastels, watercolors, and different elements . This new phase is by soft pastel tones, particularly pinks, blues and mint greens which are not only aesthetic choices but symbolic vehicles of a future filled with light, optimism, and emotional regeneration. My works are visual capsules of serotonin: stimuli that aim to activate the brain stem and intestine of the viewer, awakening joy and well-being on a cellular level. In a world driven by digital interactions and urgency, I seek to offer a moment of stillness – an invitation to introspection and sensory. Each artwork aspires to gently alter the internal landscape of those who stand before it, creating new neural pathways and memory traces imbued with peace and presence. This artistic inquiry is deeply rooted in a lifelong fascination with meditation, biology, nature, the universe, and the invisible connections between the earthly and the magical. From a very young age, I believed that art – like science, ritual, or any human practice – must contribute positively, offering hope and leaving a meaningful imprint on the world. H O P E is, above all, an offering – a visual and emotional gesture toward collective healing.
