BIOGRAPHY
Painting is the expression of my emotions, feelings and perception of the world around me.
I try to connect with my fellow men by taking them through imagination and daydreaming.
I draw from mythology or history to find the story.
I take my models from advertising, comics or even manga.
When I paint landscapes I interpret the images stored in my memory, from previous visual impressions, never landscapes identifiable with reality but pure abstraction.
I have gone through different tendencies, experimenting from abstraction to landscape, from realism to landscape and again to abstraction, as a pendular evolution that involves me in a dynamic of constant movement.
CV
I studied at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts, now the Faculty of Fine Arts, and learned everything about the profession from the best teachers.
I have co-directed a studio and taught as a teacher.
I have exhibited in different areas and have focused on private and commissioned sales.
During more than 30 years of career, I have painted recurrently in various itinerant workflows, recurrently reopening creative processes out of true passion.
STATEMENT
Painting is the expression of my emotions, feelings and perception of the world around me. I seek to generate an understandable language that connects with the resources available in most people’s imagination.
