BIOGRAPHY
Anja Smolarz is an abstract painter and jewelry designer living on the north-west coast of Poland.
Growing up in a beautiful old Prussian-style house surrounded by picturesque meadows, dense forests and a crystal clear lakes, she quickly fell in love with nature and its endless beauty.
Her paintings are gateway to a dreamlike realm, where abstract landscapes unfold. Anja creates a delicate balance between romanticism and melancholy, evoking a whole range of emotions. As we gaze upon her canvases, we can see subsequent layers that the artist applies with poetic intensity. Her paintings capture the ethereal moments and are a harmonious blend of brightness and subtle darkness creating a captivating whole.
